Travel Insurance

To buy, or not to buy? Compare the cost of the trip versus the cost of the policy. If you just made a considerable financial investment, insuring it is smart. Are you going to an exotic or adventurous destination where you may need medical care or evacuation? Do you or a loved one have chronic health issues that may force you to cancel your trip? Buy insurance!

Leaving Home Checklist 1
Have the post office hold your mail and stop newspapers. Tell your credit card company & bank that you will be using your debit or credit card overseas. Arrange for your plants to be watered. Leave copies of your passport, hotel info, airline tickets, traveler's checks and any credit cards you plan to use with a family member or trusted friend.
Leaving Home Checklist 2
Place your name and address inside your luggage, as well as on the outside. Have your travel and health insurance info handy at all times. Pack identification, travel documents, valuables and prescriptions in your carry-on bag. Install or activate security lights that turn on and off to create the illusion that you are home. Get a pet-sitter for your furry friends.
